Purge me with Hyssop

Perhaps because of it's bluish blossoms, hyssop is a plant that makes me think of lavender. Even it's pattern of growth, with its thin, straight stalks, could resemble the lavender's upward shoots. The soil of France is a preferred home for them both.

However, when it comes to their fragrance, hyssop and lavender are parting their ways. One is a sweet and relaxing, while the other is stimulating and more savory. At least, that's how they come across to my senses.

But don't take my word for it. You be the judge. In our SIMON WELLNESS ESSENCE, both of these essential oils are available for you to enjoy and benefit from... Lavender for the night, and hyssop for the morning.

"Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean,"

was the ancient prayer that touched upon the plant's invigorating, spick-and-span properties. Antiseptic, for sure! Mucolytic and decongestant the essential oil of hyssop makes one to breathe more deeply and rest more easily. However, this, of course - as desirable as it is - it's only a prelude to the genuine rest found it the answered prayer.

So, yes, dear Lord, "purge me with hyssop", answer my prayer and make me free of all negativity of my soul. Let me find in You a restful place from all my fidgeting, pain and guilt. Purge me clean, please! And if you really hove to, go ahead and use the hyssop, as well.
